    React + TypeScript microfrontends for an SD-LAN management GUI shipped to multiple enterprise customers.

    • Built and maintain a modular React + TypeScript microfrontend architecture for the SD-LAN management GUI, using React Router, Redux Toolkit and React Query for navigation, state and data fetching.
    • Incrementally migrated ~70% of a legacy JavaScript GUI to a React + Mantine component architecture across microfrontends, more recently adopting Syncfusion component suites, without disrupting active deployments.
    • Built a front-end data-validation layer (~200 tests) that checks backend data models against the models the UI consumes, reducing backend-to-frontend data-model bugs by ~30%.
    • Partner with backend and network engineering teams on REST API contracts and shared data models, contributing to sprint planning, code reviews and documentation in Jira and Confluence.
    • Maintain the GUI's CI/CD pipelines and Docker build configurations with DevOps engineers, keeping front-end releases reliable across customer deployments.
    • Contributed to integrating an AI-powered chatbot into the SD-LAN dashboard for natural-language network automation; I use agentic coding tools (Copilot, Codex, Claude) daily across implementation, debugging and test scaffolding.

HouseSync

A shared household ledger that keeps private money private.

A self-hosted household finance app: members track private accounts, share selected expenses, split costs exactly and explore spending insights. Spring Boot 4 (Java 21) and PostgreSQL 17 behind a mobile-first React 19 + TypeScript UI, with optional Plaid bank sync and AI categorization.

  • Every cent accounted for in splits and refunds — integer minor units and deterministic remainders.
  • Privacy enforced in the database query layer, not hidden behind the UI.
  • Idempotent writes: a retry after a network failure never duplicates a record.

Never confuse silence with health.

A local-first uptime and job monitor: it checks HTTP endpoints on a schedule, tracks cron-style jobs through heartbeats, and opens, resolves and notifies on incidents — shipped as one Go binary with an embedded React 19 + TypeScript dashboard on DynamoDB, plus a synthesis-only AWS CDK/Lambda path.

  • Crash-safe scheduling: every slot ends as an observation or an explicit gap — never double-counted, never silently skipped.
  • Incidents open and resolve in the same transaction as the observation; a notification outbox retries with leases and records every failure.
  • Measured ~10 checks/s with zero missed slots at 100 monitors, with clean recovery from process restarts and database outages.
  • 380+ Go and Vitest tests with race detection and security scanning in GitHub Actions.

A full-stack analytics dashboard that aggregates external APIs — GitHub activity, weather, news, crypto prices and service status — into a customizable, real-time insight workspace. Vue 3 + Pinia on the front, Rust (Axum) with PostgreSQL and Redis behind it, designed for AWS Lambda and API Gateway.

I'm a software engineer based in Dallas–Fort Worth. I do my best work where frontend meets correctness: data models that have to agree with the backend, migrations that can't break a live deployment, and components that still work for someone using a screen reader.

At BeyondEdge Networks I build and maintain React + TypeScript microfrontends for an enterprise SD-LAN management GUI, and helped move most of its legacy JavaScript to React and Mantine.

On my own time I build complete systems — a Go uptime monitor that never mistakes silence for health, a Spring Boot household ledger that accounts for every cent — and send small, tested fixes upstream.

Before industry I did medical-imaging and health-informatics research at BUET, then earned an MS in Computer Science at Purdue, where I mentored about 200 students as a graduate teaching assistant.
